For your birthday you shall meet Bart!

According to the website of the Out of Africa park, "Bart, short for Bartholomew, became a resident of Out of Africa in 2008. He moved into his new sloth exhibit in 2016, allowing visitors the opportunity to see him more closely. He really enjoys the new home, especially the two hammocks we built for him. Like all sloths, Bart is nocturnal. Sleeping or lethargic during the day, he comes to life at night, as evidenced by the food scraps he scatters around every corner of his house. Those doing a sloth encounter need not worry that Bart will sleep through the experience. Once he smells his favorite food, tofu, he doesn’t care what time of day it is. You’ve got his attention!"

You and up to two more people will able to go inside the sloth enclosure, feed him and pet him.

There are two really annoying things you will have to do to meet Bart. Bart lives almost 5 hours away in Arizona so you gotta drive a bit to meet him. 😓

You'll also have to call the park (928-567-2840) to make a reservation with Bart. You can check for available times here and you get more details about your visit here. Call them with the gift certificate info I got you which you can download here. The money should be for two admission tickets and private meetup with Bart. If Rucker wants to join you and Cass, tell him to pay for his own admission 😛. Also, if it's your or your other guest's birthday month you get free admission!

I know it's far but you can hug a sloth! And at least you and Rucker can have a beer at Flagstaff.
